The Marriage Course

NEXT COURSE STARTS: Monday Nights from 9 May

The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage.

The Marriage Course has been running fantastically online but we'd like to bring a smile to lots of faces again by spoiling our guests at tables for two in our pop-up restaurant! So, for Sessions 1 and 7 we will run the course in-person at Africa House Cafe, Brighton and Sessions 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 you can enjoy a special date night in the comfort of your own lounge.

What is The Marriage Course?

These last few years have been pretty challenging haven't they? The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong(er) marriage or, in some cases, to restore what has been broken.   We encourage all couples in a long-term, committed relationship to join us, whether or not you are married. The material is based on Christian principles but accessible to all, with any faith or none.

If you are dating, exploring marriage or engaged, The Pre-Marriage Course may suit you better.  If so, here is the link:The Pre-Marriage Course Spring 2022 - in person (24-Feb-2022) · ChurchSuite Events

How will it work?

For Sessions 1, and 7 (9 & 27 June):

We will seat you comfortably and privately at tables for two and serve you drinks and dinner so you can relax into the evening. Then we will introduce you to the content for the evening, delivered digitally on a large screen and interspersed with a variety of conversations you'll have together. There's never any group sharing.

For Sessions 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (16, 23 May, 6, 13, 20 June):

We will start with a 15-minute welcome zoom call at 7.30pm. You can then enjoy your own 'date night,'  follow the content online and enjoy your conversations at home. We strongly recommend you try to make the evening feel like a special one, with any children in another room, candles, drinks and maybe an excuse for supporting local business with a take-away!
