Our Story

Welcome to St Matthias. 

​

St Matthias Church has been at the centre of Fiveways in North Brighton since it’s construction in 1912. In 2017, a team from St Peter’s Church partnered with the existing church family here to explore what it might look like to pioneer new ways of doing church, launch new family friendly services, and to share the love of Jesus with the local community in Fiveways.

In the years since, we’ve seen growth of both people and activity, with new initiatives and community events reaching thousands of people. God has been doing amazing things.

We love Fiveways, we love Brighton and we hope you feel at home here.
