Prayer

At St Matthias prayer is at the heart of everything we do and want to make prayer a priority in our lives. We'd love you to join us in praying for our city and here are some ways in which you can get involved.  

Regular Prayer Events

Weekly Prayer | Wednesdays 7.30-8am

Join our prayer group on zoom, led by Tom and the team. This group meets weekly to pray together for the life of St Matthias and our wider family of churches in the city.

Monthly Prayer | 3rd Thursday of each month 8-9pm (except August)

Join our monthly prayer gathering, meeting in The Hut at St Matthias. This group meets to pray for St Matthias and for Brighton, and to listen for prophetic words and pictures.

The Sanctuary | Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-9am (in term-time)

 

The Sanctuary at the front of the church will be open for you to light a candle, pray in private or with others, listen to worship music and sit or kneel in this holy place.
